By layering seasonal floral motifs atop the cypress fence’s regular structure, this design achieves a richer expression. The flowers of each season symbolize the passage of time and coexistence with nature, evoking gentle emotions in the viewer. Within the orderly geometry, freely blooming flowers create a composition with depth, where discipline and grace, stillness and movement, resonate together.
地色に用いた深緑は、自然の静謐や深い安らぎを象徴する日本の伝統色。落ち着きと知性を感じさせる色合いが、檜垣の端正さと四季草花の彩りを穏やかに包み込みます。西陣織ならではの緻密な織りによって、文様の一つひとつが立体的に浮かび上がり、光の加減で表情を変えるのも魅力です。華やかでありながら主張しすぎず、履く人の佇まいに静かな品格を添えてくれる、まさに“日本の美”を凝縮したデザインと言えます。
