雪輪文様は、雪の結晶を図案化した丸みのある形が特徴で、「清浄」「豊穣」「厄を祓う」といった意味を持つ吉祥文様です。その柔らかな輪の中に、さらに吉祥華紋を散りばめることで、可憐さと縁起の良さが幾重にも重なった奥行きある表情が生まれています。大きく配された雪輪と、その内部に織り込まれた細やかな小紋との対比が、視線に心地よいリズムをもたらし、賑やかでありながらも品のある構成に仕上がっています。
The snowflake pattern, characterized by rounded forms stylized from snow crystals, is an auspicious motif signifying “purity,” “abundance,” and “warding off misfortune.” Within its soft circles, scattered auspicious floral patterns create a layered expression of delicate charm and good fortune. The contrast between the large snowflake motif and the intricate small patterns woven within it creates a pleasing visual rhythm, resulting in a lively yet refined composition.
華紋には、「繁栄」・「調和」・「幸福」を象徴する意味が込められており、カラフルな色糸を重ねることで、活気と楽しさを感じさせる表情を演出しています。藍墨茶の落ち着いた地色があることで、彩りは決して派手になりすぎず、どこか大人びた余裕を感じさせるのも魅力です。西陣織ならではの緻密な織りにより、文様は平面的ではなく、光の角度によって立体的に浮かび上がり、歩くたびに表情が変化します。
