その中でもひときわ気品と風格を放つのが「金襴（きんらん）」です。きらびやかな金糸と繊細な織技が織りなす文様美は、まさに“布の宝石”。古くは仏教美術や茶道具の装飾、武将の装束にも用いられ、格式高い装飾織物として日本の歴史とともに歩んできました。
Nishijin weaving is one of Japan’s world-renowned traditional crafts.
Among them, Kinran stands out for its elegance and dignity. The beautiful patterns created by the glittering gold threads and delicate weaving techniques are truly “jewels of cloth.” Since ancient times, Kinran has been used in Buddhist art, tea ceremony utensils, and samurai costumes, and has been a part of Japanese history as a prestigious decorative fabric.

伝統的なモチーフの菊や桐、波、立涌（たてわく）といった文様は、ひとつひとつに意味が込められており、長寿や繁栄、清浄、美徳を象徴します。
FUGAでは、そうした意匠をモダンなスニーカーデザインへと昇華。高級感を損なうことなく、日常に取り入れやすいハイブリッドなファッションアイテムに仕上げました。
Traditional motifs—such as chrysanthemums, paulownia, waves, and tatewaku patterns—each have their own meanings, symbolizing longevity, prosperity, purity, and virtue.
